The minimum rental duration is one day.

 

What is the process for handling the data on the laptops once they are returned?

Once the computer is returned to Tech Zealand, it will be restored back to its original rental condition. This ensures that any data, modifications or changes made during your usage will be erased.

Am I permitted to install additional software on the computer once I have rented or leased it?

You are allowed to install any necessary software on the computer. However, please be aware that this responsibility lies entirely with you. It's important to note that when the computer is returned to Tech Zealand, it undergoes an imaging process to restore it to its original rental condition. As a result, any changes or modifications you have made will be erased.

 

Is equipment setup included as part of the delivery service you provide?

We are flexible in accommodating your needs, we offer comprehensive installation and testing services for those who require it prior to the event. The specifics of the installation will be arranged and discussed when you make the equipment booking, ensuring that it aligns with your requirements.

Do you provide a pickup service for the equipment, or am I responsible for returning it after the rental period?

We offer both options. Some customers prefer to return the equipment themselves, while others require it to be collected. The specific details regarding equipment collection or return will be arranged during the equipment booking process, ensuring that it aligns with your preferences and needs.

What is the difference between a rental and a lease?

Rentals typically encompass short-term durations, such as a day, a week, or a month. Should you require any adjustments to the rental duration, we are readily adaptable to accommodate your needs. On the other hand, leases are designed for longer-term commitments, usually spanning 18 to 24 months. Given the extended nature of leases, the equipment is typically purchased specifically for that lease, in contrast to rental items that have been previously used.
